| Guidelines and Rules Everyone on the site from members to staff, from newbies to seasoned veterans, must follow the rules listed below. Failure to follow the rules will result in immediate consequences, the severity of which will depend on the violation. In most situations we will go by a three strike rule: on your first offense you will be a warning, your second will result in a temporary ban (3 days), and your third offense will result in a longer ban (7 days). Your fourth offense will result in a permanent IP ban from the site. Chatbox bans, while they do not count towards a permanent site ban (except under the most dire of situations such as racism, ect), do follow the same consequences to a degree. On your first offense you will be given a warning, your second offense will result in a temporary ban from the chatbox (3 days), your third offense will result in a longer chatbox ban (7 days), and a fourth offense will cause the permanent removal of chatbox privileges. The rules have been broken up depending on the area of the site they pertain to. Chatbox
- Do not fight or flame others in the chatbox. If you have an issue with each other take it to PM.
- Spoiler images and long links.
- Respect each other.
- Keep the swearing to a minimum: I understand most of us let it slip from time to time, but let’s keep the chatbox from becoming an all out swear fest.
- Do not spam: this means don’t post the same thing over and over again in the chatbox.
- While asking questions in the chatbox is fine, please do not pester members of staff for moderation's.
- Respect staff. If you’re told to do something by a member of staff than do not argue.
Role Play
- You must have a character approved before you’re allowed to role play or app anything outside of Special Characteristics needed for your character application.
- Please make sure you wait at least 15 minutes between posts when doing solo threads, and ensure that those posts are at least 300 words long.
- Do not take OOC knowledge and bring it IC, this is called meta-gaming and is strictly prohibited.
- When posting the title of a thread please ensure that you dictate who can and cannot enter your thread. To do this you simply put tags such as [Open], [Invite Only], [John Smith], [Private], so on and so forth. Any thread not tagged will be considered Open to any who wish to enter.
- All topics are considered Kill-Enabled. To keep this as 'realistic' as possible any and every thread is considered 'dangerous' including private ones.
- If you wish to enter into an invite only or private thread without being invited you must roll for invasion (please see invasion rules).
- Please keep the posting order. This means that if John, Mary, and Sue enter the thread in that order then that is the order they must post in. The only exception to this rule is if it has been seventy two hours; then you may skip the person who has been absent and continue on with the thread.
- No character can be in more then five threads at any single time. Nor can they be in threads in multiple locations.
General
- Do not spam threads.
- Do not post pornographic or derogatory imaging.
